Education and Community, India
One School. One Decade. A Different Tomorrow.
Sri Guru Raghavendra Vidyaniketana, Doddaballapura
We didn’t want to simply help a school perform better.
We wanted to help its students imagine a better life.
Our long term association with a private school in Doddaballapura, managed by a trust, has extended beyond infrastructure: school buses, security, meals, a dedicated computer laboratory and ongoing support for student development.
The school has grown from 15 students to over 800 in the last decade, maintaining a 100% pass rate throughout.
But the real story begins after the examination.
Students who score above 60% in SSLC are given opportunities for on the job training and employment with nearby factories and companies.
Education should not simply help a child pass an exam. It should help them see what life could look like after it.
